Girls rankings

Using the girl's rankings from January 24th and assigning placement points for places 1 through 6 for scoring wrestlers gives the following:
South = 57 points
Princeton = 56 points
Buckhannon Upshur = 49 points
Cabell Midland = 37 points
Musselman = 36 points
Parkersburg = 33 points
Washington = 28 points
Liberty Raleigh = 24 points
I don't know the rosters for all these teams or results to know if this reflects dual strength.
Should be an interesting state tournament for the girls.

I have corrected my earlier mistake in scoring for Buckhannon. Not sure how I added up their score so incorrectly. And as the following post points out, I added Washington's score even though they were not included in the top 10 rankings, which may also be based a little more on team strength in duals and not just tournament competition. I did not allow points to be scored by more than one wrestler per weight class per team, as I thought I read somewhere they were going to use normal scoring for the Girls State tournament this year, but let everyone wrestle at an individual level to promote participation. However, I don't know for sure if that is the case.
